WolfDrop is a Chrome extension and a Figma plugin made by Masuder Rahaman. It sends images you choose from the web to your open Figma file. This page explains what it handles and why.
What WolfDrop handles
- Only for images you choose to send (with the Add button, the right-click menu or the picker in the popup): the image address, the page title, the page address and the image size.
- Your WolfDrop code: a random code made by the Figma plugin. It is not linked to your name, email or any account.
How it is used
The extension sends the pin to your inbox on the WolfDrop relay at wolfdrop.masuderrahaman.com, which runs on Cloudflare. The Figma plugin that shows your code collects it, and the relay downloads the image so Figma can place it. A pin is deleted from the relay as soon as Figma confirms it. Pins that never reach Figma are deleted after 24 hours. Image files may stay in Cloudflare's cache for up to 24 hours.
What WolfDrop does not do
- No accounts, names or email addresses.
- No browsing history. On Pinterest the extension only looks at the image under your pointer to show the button. When you open the WolfDrop popup, it lists the images on the current tab so you can pick some; that list stays in your browser. Nothing leaves your browser until you click.
- No analytics, tracking, ads or selling of data. Nothing is shared with anyone except Cloudflare, which hosts the relay.
On your devices
Chrome keeps your code in its extension storage, synced with your Chrome profile. Figma keeps your code and settings in its plugin storage. Disconnect in the extension's settings, or remove the extension or plugin, to delete them.
